Hi Tony

Welcome to the forum.

We went for a drive around that area of Abruzzo a few years back and thought it gorgeous, hope you enjoy it.

We aren't that far away in the UK, we live in Bacup, we bought a house quite a way from you in Moscufo.

What draws you to Abruzzo?

Andy

The house I have bought is in need of renovation. After that's done ..then,part-rental & part-holiday home.
I see it as a "base" until I retire (2-3 years from now?) By which time I might want to move fulltime (+buy somewhere bigger).Im keeping my options open at the moment.

sounds like a good plan, Tony! If you can deal with the Italian heat, that is  .

insider tip #01

easy way to deal with the heat is to drink plenty of Pecorino for breakfast passout till 16:45, start the G & Ts, eat like a horse, caffe, grappa, sleep...

repeat as needed

Welcome to the forum Tony. if you have managed the process of buying a house you already know about the red tape! Do you speak Italian?
