does anyone know the Italian equivalent of white spirit?

I have some oil based paint from the uk that needs thinning

the real alternative to white spirit is acquaragia this is best for oil based paint

I used Acquaragia when using varnish and it worked really well, certainly for cleaning brushes.

I have some stuff Ibought from our local ironmonger in a green and white tin, can't remember the name,  just ask for brush cleaner
